Atlantic Plumbing Parcel C

This is the third project for which ECA has served as executive architect with Morris Adjmi of New York as the designer. The defining feature of the mixed-use project is a seven-story bridge linking the north and south towers and spanning a woonerf—a narrow, pedestrian-oriented alley that also allows limited vehicular traffic. The north tower contains rental apartments, while the south tower is an extended-stay hotel. An array of terra cotta “baguettes” enlivens portions of the façade while providing passive solar screening.
