Glover House includes apartments, three levels of underground parking, a large grocery store, and a café. The project entailed a wholesale renovation of an outmoded hotel building and the addition of two entirely new structures. Because the existing hotel had very low ceilings, we paid careful attention to the placement of new ductwork and plumbing to minimize awkward bulkheads and avoid even lower ceilings. We modified and reinforced the roof structure of the existing building to accommodate a penthouse including recreational space and an outdoor pool.
