This 288-unit, market-rate apartment building is part of a larger development that includes the 96-unit affordable-rental Portner Flats, also by ECA, which it helped to subsidize. Projecting bays and sunscreens add depth to the south façade. The use of dark brick on the upper two floors, which are also set back from the main plane of the façade, acknowledges the height of the existing, 90-foot apartment building to the west. ECA provided both architectural and interior design services for this project.
