ARCADE SUNSHINE

Arcade Sunshine converts a hundred-year-old industrial laundry facility to a modern residential community. This industrial past was a strong design driver throughout our process. The historic facades of the existing buildings were retained and restored. Courtyards were used extensively, both cut into the existing four story building and incorporated into the plan of a new five story addition. Rooftop amenity spaces were also provided, with extensive use of green roofs, planters, varied seating areas, fire places, and grilling station taking advantage of the panoramic city views.
