This project includes 353 dwelling units, as well as expanded community green space. Its site is located in a Metro-accessible community on the border of Washington, DC and Maryland. Our team worked carefully to break down the project’s block-long façade through the incorporation of projecting bays and a grand entrance to create a more vertical expression and a transitional scale. Soft Scandinavian design serves as an influence throughout the building, with wood accents on both the exterior bays and throughout the interior. ECA is the base building and interiors architect. The project is currently in the construction phase.
